Yesterday the ISTEN project hosted a webinar devoted to the best practices for the creation of an integrated port-hinterland hub.
The webinar was organised by our partner Institute for Transport and Logistics – ITL of Bologna and featured two interesting presentations on the MAHART Container Center – MCC (Hungary) and the Padova Interporto Terminal, as examples of multimodal terminals with excellent connections to Central and Eastern Europe (Mahart) and the wide North Italy hinterland (Padova).
The Hungarian case was illustrated by Mr. Zoltan Fabian, Managing Director of MCC, and Mr. Gabor Spellenberg, Project Manager of MCC, while Mr. Andrea Ballarin gave an overview of the main services and initiatives Interporto Padova carries out.
