On 22-23 February 2018 the ISTEN project officially kicked off, the first meeting being hosted by the Lead Partner, Mediterranea University of Reggio Calabria.

Partners started to lay the groundwork for the project to be successful in making ADRION seaports better connected to their hinterland through intermodality.

During the next months the partners, together with relevant actors of the transport and logistics chain will start working on local context analyses to identify existing bottlenecks affecting the port-hinterland integration in their regions.

The first meeting marked also the opportunity for partners coming from several ADRION countries to visit the terminals of the Port of Gioia Tauro.

The next meeting is planned for June 2018, in Thessaloniki.
